What educators are saying

I am thankful for this resource. Many of my students were not ready for the 4th grade warmups. It was a great way to build the students skills and help them move to the next level.
My students and I loved this resource. It was easy to use and we found it very helpful. We will definitely be buying more things from your store. Thank you!

Description

3rd Grade Quick Checks: Common Core Math Assessments

MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE PREVIEW FILE FOR A DETAILED LOOK AT WHAT IS INCLUDED!

I created this resource as a quick and easy way to help keep track of of my students’ progress. I wanted to be able to fully assess one standard each week without devoting an entire math period to testing. These quick checks are designed to be just that - quick!

INCLUDED:

-Quick Checks: One page for each 3rd grade CCSS math standard

-Student cover page for quick check booklet

-Answer keys for each page

Class Data Tracking:

-Data binder cover page (color and black and white versions)

-Divider pages for each of the 5 domains

-“Domain at a Glance” tracking pages for each

set of standards

-One class data tracker for each standard

Student Data Tracking:

-Individual student data binder divider page

-Student Data Tracker (date/standard/score)

-Student Data at a Glance Page (track mastery of standards)

This resource is a fabulous complement to my 3rd Grade Common Core Math Assessments - ALL STANDARDS BUNDLE, which includes 2 assessment pages per standard, along with student data tracking.

In addition to being a great source of assessment data, this resource would work well as morning work, homework, or even an independent math center.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.
Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
