What educators are saying

I needed a quick and easy packet to give to regular education teachers to screen their students and this was just what I was looking for! It is easy to use and helps me when it comes time to assess and evaluate students.
I use the screenings regularly for kindergarten and preschool screenings. I have pulled the older age screenings for a quick check when teachers send names along for screening that may benefit from speech therapy testing. Great product!

Description

Grab these quick and easy language screenings for all grade levels to determine if a student may have a delay in the areas of pragmatics, expressive, or receptive language. This is a comprehensive speech and language screening tool for age 2, and grades K3 through 12th. It includes word list for a QUICK articulation screening and a variety of language skills with each language skill listed so that you can quickly see which informal assessments you will need to administer in order to develop the student's IEP goals.

The grade levels are broken down like this:

  • 2 year old
  • 3K
  • 4K
  • 5K
  • 1st
  • 2nd-3rd
  • 4th-5th
  • 6th-8th
  • 9-12th

Includes visuals needed to use with the lower level screenings (K3-1st--there's a key on the bottom of each page telling you which visual aids you will need) in the following areas:

  • Color identification (black & white included)
  • Shape Identification (black & white included)
  • Object Identification
  • Concepts
  • Categories
  • Body Parts

A form is included so that you can document the students that need a speech screening and it allows you to document if you tried to pull them, but couldn't.

I also have included a binder cover and spine in black and white so that you can make your own binder for this product.

Instead, you will find me crafting or eating kiwi and strawberries, while swinging in my hammock dreaming about ways I can decorate my therapy room, or add to my sensory corner. Lately, I have been dabbling with body positivity on instagram. It's always good to let other speechies know that we are all in this together, things are not always peachie, but we will make it. I am a full time SLP just like you. I make crafts to make me happy and to make my speech therapy students happy. I hope you feel the love in my products. Follow me on Instagram @speechdreams.
