Queen or Emily Dickinson Poetry Interactive Bulletin Board & Activities

Stump your students with this fun interactive activity: Is the quote lyrics from a Queen song or lines from an Emily Dickinson poem? The bundle comes with 40 interactive bulletin board display cards (updated to include the paper-saver option), a 122-slide presentation (updated to include an editable PowerPoint presentation as well as PDF), a 2-page student handout with brief bios for each artist, and a 2-page teacher answer key.

This is a great way to promote enthusiasm for poetry any time of the year or to kick-start your poetry unit. It is guaranteed to stump your students and make them think differently about poetry: if they see the lines as song lyrics, they find them much easier to process and understand. Plus, it's a fun, educational activity for your students. (It's also great to use when you are being observed--administrators love activities like this!)

VERSATILE: Use the presentation & handout then put up the bulletin board after the activity or use the bulletin board or activities separately. Either way, your students will be intrigued.
