What educators are saying
Description
This activity includes 46 task cards in which students will practice solving problems with parallelograms, rectangles, rhombi, squares, isosceles trapezoids and kites. The cards are organized by type of quadrilateral so you can use them as you teach the topics, or as a giant review at the end!
Students must have an understanding of the properties of these quadrilaterals in order to solve them. Solving a multi-step algebraic equation is required on most all cards. The Pythagorean is required on a few cards. Midsegment of an isosceles trapezoid also included. This activity was designed for a high school level geometry class.
A recording worksheet is included for students to record their answers. They can check their answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code. However, a QR scanner app is required on the device. There are several free apps available to download.
If you haven't used QR codes in your classroom yet, I highly recommend them! Students love using the technology, and the self-checking makes it easier on the teacher!
A version without QR codes is included as well.
