QQC Assignment

Directions/prompts to help students process an article or multiple articles or stories that are paired with the instructions. I've used this to spark some curiosity in new units in my room and also extend off of material we'd been working on. Use as part of your in class work, outside of class work, or great for a low pressure task while a substitute is there. I liked pairing them with different News ELA articles or other interesting articles I could find on a topic within my students' reading levels.

Make a copy of the file and there is room to add in how you will assign points (if you want to) and be able to add to or modify your expectations for what students will do. you can laminate a copy for each child to keep in their folder or notebook or binder to refer back to if you make QQC work a regular part of your class.
