***This project was NOT my idea, but compiled by ideas that various teachers have posted online!!!!!!!***
Rather than test my students on Pythagorean Theorem, I decided that students can use something they know all about - Instagram - to showcase their understanding.
Suggestion for extending: Include a requirement for students to plot their right triangle on a coordinate plane and prove the distance formula!
Once students have submitted their projects, make a wall to display Pythagoras' posts!
