How to play this Beat Passing Halloween singing game in your classroom:
1. Ask students to form a standing circle with enough space between each student to allow for comfortable passing of the pumpkin from one student to the next on the steady beat.
2. Instruct students to pass a stuffed or plastic pumpkin on the steady beat, from one person to the next, as they sing along with the recording.
3. If a student drops the pumpkin during the song, they are “out”.
4. The student holding the pumpkin at the end of the song is “out”. The circle gets smaller, and the game continues until all students have had a turn.
5. Students who are out can play Boomwhackers along with the Halloween Boomwhacker play along video.
