This unit includes a variety of activities all around pumpkins that will take you from reading, to math, and even science! This resource provides you with tons of activities all around the theme of pumpkins while also making sure that your students are learning. For the pumpkin investigation, students can work in small groups, each with their own pumpkin, or you can do one pumpkin as a class.

Students will love getting to dig into the pumpkin and get their hands dirty, not even realizing that they are learning at the same time! Students will get to practice grouping and skip counting by 10s, measuring using a measuring tape, weighing and comparing weight, and more!

Bring the learning home too with a pumpkin book report! Students read a favorite book and use a pumpkin to create a character from the book and complete the book report packet. This is always a student favorite!
