Description

This resource is an application of angle measurements and a Common Core and TEKS requirement. Students are asked to find a missing angle (subtraction) of two adjacent non-overlapping angles OR the total angle measurement (addition) of two adjacent non-overlapping angles. I put this resource in two forms (Version 1 and Version 2). Version 1 is what the state standards assess. Version 2 is making the computation directly from a protractor after the calculation of angle measurements have been made. This second version (V2) appears difficult at first glance, but it is not. Students pick it up quickly after a few attempts, and it relates the work they completed on Version 1 back to a protractor. FREE Resource. Best of luck with your kiddos. Blaine Helwig
