Protest movements during the Vietnam War

We have spent years building up our lessons and our goal has always been to make our lessons engaging, multicultural, relevant, and thought provoking.

This bundle is so rewarding and the benefits of it include getting students to:

This lesson will help you to provide a more in-depth understanding the Vietnam War. This lesson is designed to be personalized by you to best suit your classroom and the students needs. We hope you enjoy this lesson as much as we have!

Directions

  • Start with the warm-up to get the students ready to think critically, we like to 

encourage class discussions.

  • Slides 10-14: Analyzing Vietnam War Protest Songs… Students will listen to three 

Vietnam War protest songs. (Draft Dodger Rag By Phil Ochs, Eve of Destruction by Barry McGuire and Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival) Students will follow along with the lyrics and then fill out the graphic organizer that goes with each song.
