What educators are saying

I printed these cards out, so we could do a scoot during our LA block. The students liked moving around and this gave me a way to check in with their learning around noun-pronoun agreement.
My kids loved this!!! I have a very active group of kids, and so anytime they can do task cards and move around the room they love it. These were challenging enough they had to think about it but not hard enough they all struggled.

Description

Your students will love these 32 pronouns task cards!

Use these 32 multiple choice task cards to help your students gain fluency with pronoun-antecedent agreement. These cards are a bit tricky, because in most cases more than one of the pronouns given will make sense in the sentence; however, only one of them agrees with the subject. This means that students will need to read carefully in order to select the correct pronoun.

What's included?

  • 32 Task Cards- Color
  • 32 Task Cards- Blackline
  • Google Slides Activity
  • Easel Assessment (self-checking)
  • Classroom Posters
  • Student Response Sheets
  • Challenge Card
  • Answer Key

A student answer sheet for students to record their answers is included along with an answer key for self-checking. There is also a Challenge Card that asks students to tell whether the subject is singular or plural. These task cards are perfect for test prep and will work well at literacy centers, stations, for partner work, or with the whole class using a game like Scoot.

These cards will look best in color, but will also print out fine in grayscale. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. Alternatively, you could print on cardstock. It works well to keep them in a baggie. Another option is to hole-punch a corner of each card and put them all on a ring.
