Project Based Learning Activity: Design A Chicken Coop

In this PBL activity students will be designing their very own CHICKEN COOP. Many classrooms use spring time as a chance to learn about chickens, their life cycle, and even raise real ones in the classroom.

Chicken coops are basically little houses that chickens live in during the day and night. Think of tiny houses for fowl. They're pretty amazing because there are so many different designs and ways to create them. They are also very important because they keep chickens safe, warm, and protected. Now students get to make one!

-Design the outside of your chicken coop.
-Design the inside of your chicken coop
-Create a perfect little backyard chicken farm.
-Answer questions about your design.
-Show your chickens living it up on Chickengram.
