What educators are saying

This was engaging for the students. I believe working on this and several other resources will build their processing speed.

Description

Having a slow processing speed is not a disability; however, it can be the root cause of lagging skills in the areas of reading, writing, and math. While processing speed deficits can be a risk factor for academic problems, intervention and practice can help. This intervention works well as a warm-up to more intense evidence-based interventions. Think of this as a warm-up for the neurons in the brain before the heavy lifting begins.

In addition, a progress monitoring tool is included to monitor student growth and help increase student buy-in. Don’t forget, processing speed is like many of the cognitive functions, “use it or lose it“.
