Description

It's back to school time! Do you have a movement word of the day? These Primary Movement Word Wall Cards are awesome for teaching movement words for kids!

Add these cards to your movement word anchor chart or pocket chart while teaching movement! One of my favorite movement activities is having students assign movements to each section of a song. Using a pocket chart or magnets, students decide on a movement for each section. This is a great activity for small groups!

These movement cards are awesome for teaching movement in the music room or in any classroom!

I included cards for categories and movements. Each word comes in 4 colors and black & white! There are 26 movements included plus 4 category cards (stationary, traveling, locomotor, non-locomotor) and 2 blank cards to make your own!

This resource can be used in ANY classroom! Kodaly, Orff or Dalcroze - everyone can teach movement!

Teachers like you are saying:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "My students used the labels to classify movements and it provides a place for them to look for movement ideas." - Paula B.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Great variety of words and visual styles! Thanks for including a blank page of each type for me to be able to customize!" - Chrissy H.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I'm glad to have these for my primary kids. I tried having my students create some movements today and these cards would have been a big help! That's what prompted me to buy them. Thanks." - Keira Q.

This download is a ZIP file with a PDF that can be projected onto your screen, smart board, white board or whatever you use in your classroom. This product is not a PowerPoint, but when viewed in full screen, can be used like a PowerPoint. This file looks great when printed!
