Description

Help your emergent readers develop good fluency! Students can use these warm-up cards at teacher table to get ready for Guided Reading. Have students find certain words or read to one another. Students can time themselves and set goals for improving. Use certain cards to pre-teach word patterns that will appear in the story that day.

There are 19 fluency cards included:

-Letter Names and Sounds (in random order)

-Uppercase Letter Names and Sounds (in random order)

-Lowercase Letter Names and Sounds (in random order)

-High Frequency Sight Words - 3 pages

-2-Letter VC words (both real and non-sense) - 2 pages

-CVC Words - 2 pages

-CVCe Words - 2 pages

-CVC and CVCe Words Mixed - 2 pages

-Words with Blends - 2 pages

-Words with Digraphs - 2 pages

-Words with Bonus Letters (twin consonants)

These can be printed on cardstock and laminated to last for many years. Students love challenging themselves to become more fluent readers! Please feel free to add suggestions for more pages/words that you would like included, and I will update! :)
