Prezi for Making Arrays to Solve Division Problems

Students have learned to use arrays to assist them in solving multiplication. Students are also learning that division and multiplication are inverse properties so they can create arrays to solve division problems as well. My third grade class did this activity and loved it. We began talking about division a little after Christmas break so the snowflake arrays worked great. I downloaded snowflake clip art for my students to cut out so that they could arrange their arrays on blue construction paper and write their division sentence below it.
