We can cook President G. Washington's favourite food in class, and/ or host a presidential potluck !
We have an amazing easy to make in class recipe, voting, learning to tally votes, and learning about each presidents favorite foods.
There are student pages, ideas and tips for expanding this lesson, as well and how to pages and supply lists.
Sometimes we need a little help in remembering who the presidents were and this lesson gives a human quality that we can all relate to. It also allows your students to understand the basics of voting with a no stress subject matter.
There are two videos from Chef Arlena introducing the presidents favorite foods and introducing cooking.
