The powerpoint explains how presidential elections and the electoral college work. Topics included are:
- explanation of electoral votes and how states are assigned values
- popular vs. electoral vote, highlighted in the 2000 election
- role of the House of Representatives in deciding ties or undecided elections
- landslide elections
- role of 3rd party candidates
Powerpoint includes electoral maps from every presidental election in US history
