Preschool/Kinder Moves! First Time Users File

This first time users file is a must have for the Preschool/Kinder Moves program. As the name implies, you only need to download this file one time. All the materials provided here can be used for all of the Preschool/Kinder Moves Themed Units. In this file, you will find documents with specifics of why movement is an important part of learning in an educational setting. It also covers how the program was created and how it has been used in educational settings. You will also find documents on how to create the program and incorporate it into you classroom routine. Many cues as to how to teach the movements will be given. There is a file on how to create a picture schedule. You will also find all the labels you will need to make your own picture board. Please note that a picture schedule board only has to be made one time. Then it can be used repeatedly for all themed units. You will also be given an easy idea and labels to help store your program for convenience and to keep it safe and organized. This way, you can easily rotate your “Movements” with each change of theme in your classroom. Keeping your themed unit materials safe will cut down on your preparation time. Once you create the picture schedule board cards and props for each unit the first time, they can be used again and again.
