I agree with Don, and I agree with Maria Montessori; Children are like sponges. During the first conferences we had with our parents, we agreed on a goal for each student. We asked the parents to tell us where did they want their children to be academically two months after they had the conferences. They all agree on their children being knowledgeable of letters, numbers and most of all being able to write their name. Even though the mission for our three-year-old seem impossible, we told the parents that the mission would be complete only if they also corporate with us as a team. They agree and we did.

It is amazing how much progress a child can make. Every single student in our classroom is ready to move on to Pre-K 4 next year. We are very proud and worry free because when they move to the next level, they will not have difficulties adjusting to their new class. I hope you find these resources useful!
