Practice Science Lab and Report

In this week-long group activity, students will test three brands of the same product to determine which is the best product to use for the job it was intended. Students will assume leadership roles in the lab group and work to keep to a schedule during the week of lab activity. Included are specific directions and tips for the teacher plus a rubric which can be used to assess the performance of the students. This is a good way to start the school year or to practice necessary science skills during the year. Good communication (written and oral) are utilized in this activity.
