    Bip PPT Requirements

    Slides:

    1- Name and Class # Students will display 1 graphic or background on their cover page and state their names and class numbers.

    2- Role Model- Students will select an athlete, musician, family member, or significant other that inspires them as a person and explain why.

    3- Future College- Students will list their favorite subjects, and describe where they wish to continue their academic studies.

    4- Future Job/Occupation – Students will describe the characteristics of their career goals and why they choose them.

    5- Family Support Systems – Students will describe their support systems and assistance throughout their lives.

    6- Culture/Ethnicity – Students will provide a flag of their nation of origin and describe their culture’s foods, celebrations, and traditions.

    7- Free Slide – Students will indicate their hobbies and past times and evaluate their presentations ability to communicate to their peers.

    Restaurant Menu Requirements

    Slides:

    1- Students will state their names, class numbers, and provide a flag of their nation of origin. This will include a name for their restaurant on the menu cover.

    2- Students will create an index slide containing rollover buttons that connect the viewer to each section of their menu.

    3- Students will list four appetizers and include photographs and ingredient descriptions for each of the appetizers listed.

    4- Students will list three entrees including a chicken, meat, and fish dish related to their cultural backgrounds with photographs and ingredient descriptions for each of the three entrees listed.

    5- Students will include three pasta dishes related to their cultural backgrounds with photographs and ingredient descriptions for each of the three pasta dishes listed.

    6- Students will display five nonalcoholic beverage photographs with the beverage names.

    7- Students will display three desserts of their choices and include a photograph and ingredient description for each of the three deserts listed.

    8- Students will generate a children’s menu and include three children’s meals with photographs

    and ingredient descriptions for each of the three children’s meals.

    Travel Brochure Requirements

    Slides:

    1- Students will state their names, class numbers, and provide a flag of their nation of origin. Please include a short message in a text box welcoming viewers to your country.

    2- Students will create an index slide containing rollover buttons that connect the viewer to each section of their travel brochure.

    3- Students will list three major airports with hyperlinks and include a detailed map of their country.

    4- Students will list three major cities and include one photograph for each with a hyperlink to the city description. Please include a short description of each major city location in a text box.

    5- Students will list three of the most popular sights to see with one photograph for each. Include a short description of the sight in a text box next to each picture.

    6- Students will list six foods including the names for each of the dishes from their countries with photographs.

    7- Students will list four holiday celebrations including the names, dates, and descriptions for each holiday. Please include two photographs of any holiday listed for this page.

    8- Free Slide – This slide must be related to your travel brochure, but the related material is

    completely up to you.
