A complete PowerPoint of the most common breeds of poultry. This includes common breeds of chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese. This PowerPoint also includes other species like peafowl and quail. The PowerPoint includes common terms like rooster/feather legged/bantam.
When I present this I talk for a while about each breed since poultry is one of my favorite subjects to teach. I also have birds I bring into my classroom so we will have discussions on how "Gonso is an Emden. He is in the picture by my desk". When I present it takes about 40 minutes. If this isn't your specialty you may have a much shorter time and if you love birds like me the time might go longer!
My High School students have completed this in one 60 minute class period and my Middle School students have done it in 2 class periods.
