Popsicle CVC Word Puzzles for Decoding in Reading with Digital Activities

30 CVC word popsicle puzzles are included for students to practice their decoding skills. Students will read and match pictures to CVC words on these sweet popsicles. Great for small groups, literacy centers, or independent work. Word and sentence level practice worksheets are also included. SLPs and teachers can also use this product as a vocabulary activity by having students sort the CVC words by category and/or describing each picture.

Decoding is the ability to apply knowledge of letter-sound relationships to read written words. Understanding these relationships gives children the ability to recognize familiar words quickly and to decode words they have never seen before.
