Description
Looking for an activity to engage Algebra 2 students who are practicing graphing a polynomial function when it is in factored form? In this matching activity, students will look at a graph and determine its key features such as end behavior and multiplicity of the roots. Students will then match a polynomial graph with an equation in factored form. The following cards are a way for students to match a polynomial graph with its factored form.
This activity provides the opportunity to partner students so they can work collaboratively with others. It is the perfect resource for any math class!
What’s included?
- 9 graphs and 9 equations
- Google Slide digital activity
- answer key
Do your students need repetition of a specific skill? This activity provides the opportunity for students to practice sketching polynomial functions.
Do you want students to work collaboratively? Pair students by readiness level and allow them to solve problems with a partner.
The best part? Students will have fun while learning!
