Bright Polka Dot Word Wall Word Cards

The polka dot word wall cards in this resource will add a fun and bright focus to your classroom. This word wall resource contains 360 words. This resource contains the first 204 words from Fry's high frequency list, these are high frequency sight words. The rest of the words are buyer requested cards, which include color and number words.

This resource includes a zipped in a PowerPoint file where you can type your own words over the fixed polka dot background. Those fixed backgrounds come in the multiple color style shown on the preview image, a full sheet of turquoise, a full sheet of orange, a full sheet of pink, a full sheet of lime green, a full sheet of purple, and a full sheet of yellow (please, note this color is not included in the pre-made PDF cards). Please, note that you cannot edit the pre-made word cards in the PDF but you can create your own with the PowerPoint template.

Download the preview to see a sample page from the resource. The word cards are about 3.5 by 2 inches in size.

To save space, this file could be used as a portable word wall by placing the words on binder rings and hanging them from hooks in your classroom. The students would then be able to remove the word wall rings and use the words at their seats.

I have also included a link for the original file (with Smiley Monster Font) before I updated it to this one with a primary font on 11/2/15.
