Description

This Pokey Pinning BUNDLE includes all of the Pokey Pinning Editions I have created as well as new ones I will create and upload! So far, this includes alphabet, sight words, numbers, & shapes. Pokey Pinning is the perfect fine motor to implement into your classroom! Kinders (and all young students really) need a firm grasp on fine motor movements so they can do things like button, zip, use correct pencil grip, hold a crayon, tie shoes, etc. This incorporates all of the fine motor movements as well as instructional content! When my kinders use pokey pinning, They use the giant push pins that are perfect for their little fingers. They are instructed to poke the sight word, letter, shape, etc using small, tedious movements. Once they complete the page, they can tear off the top page and see their work on the construction paper underneath! It's really cool to hold in front of a window and see the light shine through :)

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
