Pokemon themed interactive powerpoint where students can hunt pokemon in different areas that they chose. As they chose certain shapes and colors (to work on identifying shapes and colors and allowing students to choose their own adventure - or have them DRAW the shape they want to go search!) - different numbered areas to search will appear. The student can write, type, say, or use their AAC device to pick which number they want to look. Then a random pokemon with appear. A visual model of the pokemon's name will appear beside it. The student can copy the name or type/write a sentence about the pokemon they found. For Speech, students can describe the pokemon the found. You can hit the green circle to count it as a successful catch! -or- if the student does not try you can hit the red X and that pokemon will run away (but they can try again to catch them!) This powerpoint works on al the letters and can be altered from single words to sentences if you wanted to make the activity harder. Throughout the game there are a few stone and mega evolution opportunities for the students to find. I have used this online and in person and has been a hit with my elementary students to my high schoolers! There are 13 different areas to search with over 70 different pokemon to find - meaning you can get many many sessions from just this one fun activity :) The activity is easily played while the slides are in 'PRESENTATION MODE'. Click the Yellow Arrows to smoothly transition back to the main map page of the game after finding a pokemon. Click the red X on the bottom left to go to the all done/goodbye pages. So many ways to adapt this activity for a range of ages, abilities, and goals.

*clickable items only work when slides are in presentation mode
