Description

What is a hyperdoc? It is an interactive document with hyperlinks to learning opportunities and activities. This activity introduces students to how point of view affects how a story is told. Students will learn an overview of 1st and 3rd person. This activity does NOT get into 3rd limited and omniscient as it is just an introductory lesson. After the introduction, the kids will listen and summarize two versions of a classic story. Finally, they will plan their own version of the same story to write from the point of view of one of the pigs.

Hyperdocs are a GREAT way to engage your students, especially through distance learning. Whether or not you have already taught point of view, this activity is ready to go! Perfect for both initial teaching and review. Assign this hyperdoc to your Google Classroom and select "make a copy for each student," and you're all set! They are kid-approved as they have all asked for more!
