Poetry Celebration for Families- EDITABLE

At the end of our poetry unit (see my other listing for my poetry unit), we have a celebration called "Popcorn & Poetry Party". We invite families to come and hear the poetry we have written. I provide the popcorn and students provide the poems! When a student is finished reading their poem, the crowd snaps (similar to a poetry slam). Families LOVE being in the classroom and hearing what their child has been writing in class.
