What educators are saying

My students enjoyed using this resource as part of our poetry unit. I gave them to option of using some of the pre-assigned poets, and I used the blank page for students who wanted to use a poet of their own. Overall it was very helpful to get them to do their research.
This is really GREAT! This helped me because I didn't have to think of poets that the students can research and it gave the kids choices! Thank you!

Description

This Poet Study pennant is all you need to teach and promote amazing poets and their poetry around the world. National Poetry Month is April. The Poet Study pennant is a research activity. There is a biography timeline, quotes, poetry characteristics, style, themes, and students lots of opportunity for creativity.

The pennant can be used any time of the year (it does not say "National Poetry Month"). The banner includes poets throughout history from around the world. Give your students a relevant and modern experience while promoting poetry, diversity, and achievement. Leave the pennant up all year long!
