Pod cast Reviews- Homework Activity

Similarly to how a writer uses voice to shape meaning, a podcast must consider how to engage an audience through audio techniques. This homework or in class activity asks students to analyze pod casts with a focus on voice, tone, point of view, and audience. It offers a new way to consider oral presentation skills and is also an excellent lead in to a pod cast project on choice book reading (also on sale.) A list of free pod casts to consider listening to (NPR.org, TED Talks, etc.) is listed on the handout for guidance.
