What educators are saying

Great resource to help understand plot. We had a movie day and watched one of the movies and the students used the resource to show understanding of plot.

Description

This product contains everything you need to create a plot diagram sorting activity for your students. There are slips for Toy Story 3, The Lion King, and Cinderella. The teacher will cut the slips and place them in labeled envelopes or bags. The students must sort them onto a plot diagram, and can check their work with the included answer keys.

There are also a set of slips with the definitions of each term on the plot diagram (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution).

This works great as a centers activity, or with partners to encourage discussion and interaction. Students can choose which movie they want to sort, since they have likely seen at least one of these films.
