⛱ Are you looking for an engaging way to show students how the social studies, math, writing an geography skills they learn in school apply to real-life scenarios? This Dream Vacation Project Based Learning Activity has everything you need for students to apply their math, social studies, geography, research, reading, and writing skills - all while completing fun and engaging activities. This activity is perfect for the end of the year when students can plan a summer vacation, but its also great for any time you need an engaging and meaningful activity for your class!

✈ In this Dream Vacation PBL, students plan various aspects of a trip to a dream location. Students will:

  • select their destination,
  • apply for travel documents,
  • book transportation,
  • find lodging,
  • budget activities,
  • explore and budget dining options,
  • budget for souvenirs, and
  • create a travel scrapbook & brochure.

Additional "challenge activities" help students develop a deeper understanding of the concepts and skills.
