Description

This is Plains Cree 1-100 Numbers with Hundred block as one progress through each page a box fills up to the corresponding plains cree number. Teachers can laminate these 8.5 x 11" to be used to teach plains cree to their class and/or use them in various activities:

1) Counting in Cree (i.e. cree number song)

2) Game activities for sorting objects by their cree names

3) Flash cards with kids for groups, pairs and others

4) And so much more endless possibilities

Being Cree myself, it is important to have available resource to teach the next generation of young people. I noticed as a teacher that many Indigenous languages are not written, and finding the available cree resources is significantly limited especially with the various dialects of cree and even more how it may be different from region to region. There is so many teachers that want to intgrate cree into their classroom but there it is little to no resources so I want to be the first to start creating resources starting from kindergarten and on.

I think it is also important to show where I gather this information to ensure I am correctly spelling the Indigenous language but I also believe that knowledge is power and if it can encourage other teachers to be more confident in teaching it or creating more material the better off this world with be especially for a future Indigenous leaders of tomorrow.

For any Plains Cree speakers, if you notice any mistakes please let me know in the comments. I will definitely update any cree resource as it doesnt take long to make a quick edit.
