These task cards were perfect for my small groups. The kids enjoyed them and they were the perfect review! Thank you for sharing!
Used this resource as an around-the-room activity. Students loved the activity, and the task cards aligned with the learning standards that were being taught. will use this again.

CHECK OUT THE PREVIEW TO SEE EXACTLY WHAT’S INCLUDED!

96 task cards are included that cover the following skills:

  • Use pictorial models to compose and decompose numbers
  • Use standard, word, and expanded forms to represent numbers
  • Recognize and describe the mathematical relationships found in the base-ten place value system (digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right)

Two sets of task cards (48 cards per set) include skills aligned to 2nd and 3rd grade TEKS and CCSS. Set A is aligned to 2nd grade standards and can also be used with students approaching 3rd grade skills or as a beginning of the year review activity in 3rd grade.
