Description

This product is a fabulous review project your students will LOVE! The preview shows 3 of the pages describing the project.

The project has students create a theme park in order to review all the 4th grade common core place value, operations, money, time, and measurement standards include:

- Place Value
- Comparing Numbers
- Rounding Numbers
- Adding
- Subtracting
- Multiplying
- Dividing
- Money Word Problems
- Time Word Problems
- Measurement Conversions

It allows them to create a attractions for their theme park and write down the lengths, heights, and time of rides. It allows them to create concession stands with food and menu items and prices for each. Students can then use all that information to create word problems and an answer key on the various concepts listed above.

I have used this project with my 4th grade classes the past 3 years, and they absolutely LOVE it! They have so much fun being creative while reviewing these standards. It is a great way to review concepts before the Georgia Milestones, a fabulous extension project, or a great way to still have kids practice 4th grade standards through an engaging project after the Georgia Milestones!

Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right. For example, recognize that 700 ÷ 70 = 10 by applying concepts of place value and division.

Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
