What educators are saying
I copied over the body to make it fit a 3rd grade skill that I taught to my students, and these are hanging on the bulletin board as we speak. My students absolutely loved this and they were very creative with their monster faces! It turned out amazing.
This was a great craft to do with my students after we finished our place value unit. I do wish there was a blank template so I could change one part since we don't do base ten models.
Description
These Math Monsters are a perfect Halloween craft for 2nd graders! In the monster's body students are tasked with writing a 3 digit number in standard form, expanded form, base ten form, and word form. This craft makes a wonderful bulletin board display and allows students to be creative. There are three different head options.
