Place Value, Drawing the Number (Writing number words)

I use these worksheets to review drawing a place value picture of numbers up to 99. Students are given the number in standard form and they draw a picture of place value blocks and write the number in words.

I like to use this activity in the computer lab with my students. They can draw their picture using the drawing tools on Word and type the number words, but it can also be used with a pencil and paper.

The first worksheet includes a word bank at the bottom of the paper the aid students. The second one does not include the word bank.
