What educators are saying

I loved using this resource. It was very helpful and organized! My students loved using this resource!
This was a great activity for us to do to reinforce the concept of place value. My students did a great job identifying the picture models that represented a two-digit number!

Description

Looking for a fun, LOW PREP 1st grade place value game to play with your kids? Place Value Tens and Ones Bingo comes with 26 gameboards - enough for an entire class! Each board shows the base-10 materials for 1 and 2-digit numbers. Choose to play as a class, or pull out enough boards for small group practice. To differentiate, you may also like my Hundreds, Tens and Ones Bingo Boards in my store.

There are 4 sets of calling cards to differentiate the game depending on need:

Set 1: Standard Form (34)

Set 2: Word Form (thirty-four)

Set 3: Place Value Form (e.g. 3 tens 4 ones)

Set 4: Expanded Form (30+4)

Some one digit numbers are included to check for understanding of the difference between 60 and 6 for example. There are also numbers like 12 and 21 to check for place value misconceptions.

This set is designed to use only a small amount of colored ink to save on printing costs! Color is needed for the top quarter of each game board only. All of the calling cards are black and white, just print each set on different colored paper.

This set is LOW PREP - simply print and laminate! Only the calling cards need cutting out (1 or 2 pages max for each set). To make it even easier, print and place the boards in plastic sleeves and students can use a dry erase marker to cross out the numbers as they're called.
