Description

Students roll a dice (ideally 10 sided) three times to make a 3 digit number. Then they add 1, subtract 1, add 10, subtract 10, add 100, subtract 100, add 1,000 to the original number. This can be easily modified to make it four or five digit numbers. Great for building number sense and "visualizing."

Use place value blocks to reinforce if needed!
