Pixel Art Interactive White Board Activity Create & Design: Middle School
In this resource students can create their own digital pixel art from their favorite video games, animated series, comic book or even create their own original digital pixel art.
Simply select the color pixel from the color pallet on the right side of the screen and drop it into the grid on the right. It is as simple as that.
Be sure to check out the linked resources via the buttons under the color palette for pixel art inspiration and further instructions for use.
Quick tips:- To delete an unwanted pixel simple click and drag it to the space that says “drop unwanted pixels here” then drag and drop the pixel into the trash.- To quickly fill a space with the same color pixel simple drag a pixel that is already on the grid to a nearby empty square. No need to go back to the palette each time.- When a student is finished be sure to save their work with a new name to ensure you maintain a blank copy of the file for the next student.
STRONG RECOMMENDATION:
Be sure to save a blank version of this resource before allowing students to modify it so that it can easily be retrieved if they make any changes to it that cannot be easily reversed.
