Description

This packet is from my READ TO LEARN series. A good story entertains, educates, and inspires! That is my goal with these books! And giving the students copies of the books to color, highlight words, etc. and take home to share with their families is an important step in the learning process.

"Piggy Bank Problem" is a story about a young boy who learns to be responsible by earning money for something he wants to buy. The students write the amount of money shown in the piggy bank on each page of their books.

Included in this fun packet are:

*An original song called "Read a Book"
*A letter to parents that teaches 12 reading strategies
*A classroom copy of "Piggy Bank Problem"
*Comprehension questions for the story
*A master for small individual student books

If you are interested in more money activities, be sure to check out my Money Worksheets packet, Money Games packet, and my Big 290-page Bundle of Money activities!

I hope you enjoy these materials! Sheila
