Pies, Pastries, & Cookies WebQuest/HyperDoc- Distance Learning Activity.

This assignment guides students through learning about different pies, pastries, and cookies. Sections have websites for students to research and find their answers. Sections include: brainstorming, 3-2-1 dough method, video questions over making pie dough, different types of pans to possibly use, vocabulary matching, different types of cookie webs (add definition, image, and working recipe link for each type), recipe analysis, laminated dough, and compare and contrast convection oven to conventional oven. This assignment was created for a High School level Culinary Arts or Foods class. This can be done as a distance learning activity, a group collaborative activity, or a guide to learning.
