Picture writing prompt for older students with Victorian Characters

Use the writing picture prompts to get your student’s creative writing started. There are four pages; each page has a different picture. Each page can stand on its own as a writing prompt. Students can write something about the character or situation in the image.

Distribute two or more pages to provide more characters for their story. Students can write something about each character or situation separately. They can also use each character to connect with the other characters. A story can embody two, three, or four characters. The relationships between characters are up to you or the students as they create an account or narrative about the characters. 

The writing prompt set contains four character pages in color and four of the same characters in black and white (greyscale) for those of you who don’t have access to a color printer. The pages in greyscale are set with the appropriate tones so the images print well.

There is one additional page with lines for those stores that need more pages.
