Description

Welcome to "Picture Puzzle Count"! In this engaging activity, children will embark on a fun-filled journey of observation and counting. Each worksheet presents a variety of adorable black and white illustrations for kids to count. There's a box where they can write the number they counted. But that's not all!

To add an extra layer of learning, children are encouraged to identify whether the number they counted is even or odd by circling the appropriate symbol. This activity not only sharpens their counting skills but also introduces them to the concept of even and odd numbers in an enjoyable way. So, let the adventure begin as your little ones explore, count, and learn with "Picture Puzzle Count"!

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
