Pick, Click, & Pray - Catholic Prayers (FULL Version)

This is your one-stop shop for Catholic prayer! Now you can start (and even end!) every class with prayer, teach all kinds of new ones, and inspire your students to be the saints they are called to be!

I sent a survey about prayer to Catholic school teachers all over the world. Here are the three most consistent responses I heard back:

1. Teachers (of all subjects - not just religion) want to start (and/or end) every class of theirs with prayer but for one reason or another haven’t yet made this a habit.
2. Teachers want their students to learn/experience more than just the most common Catholic prayers (Our Father, Hail Mary, etc.).
3. Teachers want their students to feel more comfortable with impromptu prayer (or as I like to call it, "free-style prayer"), in which prayer comes from the heart and in one’s own words.

Upon receiving this feedback I decided to work on a resource that addressed all of the above. The result: An interactive Google Slides presentation called Pick, Click, and Pray: Catholic Prayers.

This resource includes:

• 77 Catholic prayers, including all the "Catholic Classics", 9 litanies, prayers from saints and spiritual writers, and prayers for specific intentions (for vocations, those who have died, etc.). Use these prayers to start and/or end your classes (also great for staff meetings!), reinforce prayers your students are already familiar with, and help your students learn all sorts of new prayers!
• A “Free-Style” Prayer Guide that teaches students how to pray spontaneously, helps them pray from their hearts, and gives them confidence to step up and lead others (your class, their basketball team, or their future family!) in prayer.
• A template for you to add as many extra prayers as you would like! Maybe your school has a special prayer that you want to include, or your bishop wrote a prayer that your diocese is praying together, or maybe you want to write and include a prayer of your own! Whatever the case, if you want to add a 78th prayer (or 79th, 85th, or 134th!) you can easily do that with the provided template.
• A colorful, digital wheel (that I call a “Prayer Picker”) which you (or your students!) can spin to select prayers at random. This is a great option for both mixing things up and making prayer time a little more fun. :)
• All these prayers on beautiful, easy-to-read slides that look AMAZING on a big-screen display.
