Tracing, drawing and coloring are so important for our littles. Here's a Piano Theory book designed just for K-2nd graders to use crayons and pencils to build their understanding of music theory and learn musical terms.

Covers the basic theory topics for Primer Level piano.

42 pages of finger & hand recognition, notes & rests, piano keys, the musical alphabet, symbols, steps & skips, C position, time signatures & middle C position. There are also 3 opportunities for composition and one page each for the Treble and Bass clef space notes at the end leading into level 1 method books.

I use it for my Piano Junior group classes in conjunction with the MMF All-In-One Piano Primer Lesson Book from Making Music Fun as well as some middle C position repertoire music.
