Description

Pi Day is March 14 - You know 3.14!
It's also my favorite day of the year!

Geometry is an important math concept for middle school students. Pi Day is a fun and memorable way to kick off your geometry unit. I have designed this project to include activities that address many of Gardner’s Learning Styles. Students will not only compute math, but they will also read, draw, run, use measurement, interact with their peers, and of course eat pie!

This unit includes:
Teacher Tips for a great Pi Day!
A variety of Contests
Team Building and Mascots
Pi Template
Facts
Riddles and Pictures
Pi Points to pass out to your students
Reading Activity
Math Activity
Favorite Pi Charts]
Jeopardy
Races
Scavenger Hunt
Art

More than you could possibly use in one day of fun and learning!

This is one of my students favorite days of the year! I hope your class enjoys it as well!
