I had to, unfortunately, be away from my students on March 14th this year, so I left this activity as part of their Pi Day assignment with the substitute teacher. The students enjoyed making the booklets and the activity was easy for the sub to manage. I will be using this again!

Celebrate Pi Day (March 14 – 3.14) with your students! Although designed for elementary school children, older students and even adults love this book as well.
DESCRIPTION:
Adorably-illustrated 8-page coloring book to introduce the basics of the number pi. Vocabulary words include: pi (the greek letter), decimal point, digits, mathematicians, formulas, circles, radius, circumference, and area.
PRINTING:
Prints double-sided (front and back) of 1 sheet of letter paper for resource-strapped teachers. Set the printer to "flip short side" so that the top is in the same direction on both sides when you're holding the paper in landscape view. Final book is a cute kid-sized 4.25" square.
